We look forward to welcoming you to the club.

Since its inception in 1992, The Buckinghamshire has been regarded as one of the most prestigious clubs just outside London. Home to the Ladies European Tour, and set within a private members’ club in Denham, the club offers an idyllic 18-hole championship golf course and clubhouse. Acquired by the Arora Group in 2018, The Buckinghamshire is now solely member and invited guest focused, with exceptional course access, a stunning championship layout, and service to match.

  • Gate Access

    On arrival, please buzz in at the front gate intercom. Reception will grant you access to the club.

  • Bag Drop & Valet

    Once through the gate, proceed to the bag drop, where our team will take your clubs and park your car.

  • Denham Station Pick-Up

    Denham Station is a short distance from the club, on the Marylebone line. Guests arriving by train are welcome to request a pick-up from the station via their host member.

  • EV Charging

    Electric vehicle charging points are available on-site. Charging is managed via the FUUSE app.

Guest Play

To ensure a seamless experience, all guests must be accompanied by their host member at all times, and non-playing guests are welcome to enjoy the clubhouse by invitation. On the course, players are expected to play expeditiously and maintain pace with the group ahead, while adhering to maximum handicap requirements of 24 for gentlemen and 36 for ladies.

PRACTICE FACILITIES

Practice

As a guest, you’re welcome to use The Buckinghamshire’s excellent practice facilities starting 90 minutes before your scheduled tee time. Our comprehensive amenities include a dedicated putting green, two versatile short game areas, and a grass practice range. For your convenience, practice balls are supplied at our new short game area and on the practice range

Pro Shop

We have a beautiful Pro Shop where guests are welcome to purchase from, whether you need golfing essentials or are looking for a souvenir to remember your visit.

Hire Items available from the Pro Shop:

  • Electric Trollies
  • Buggies
  • Hire clubs
  • Caddies (arranged per request)

We encourage guests to book hire items in advance to avoid disappointment. Caddies are called in on a per-job basis, so please allow as much notice as possible when requesting one.

THE COURSE

Designed by former European Tour player and Ryder Cup Captain John Jacobs O.B.E., our course offers golfers an enjoyable, relaxing and premier experience in peaceful surroundings. Playing surfaces are manicured to championship standard throughout.

Club Etiquette

  • Attire

    On the course and practice facilities, guests are required to maintain a standard of dress in keeping with the club. Collared shirts are not required but should be tucked in. Appropriate trousers or shorts should be worn — jeans and other casual trousers are not permitted on the course or practice facilities.

    In the clubhouse, attire is more relaxed: smart denim without rips is permitted, though hats are not when seated.

  • Mobile Phones

    Mobile phone use is discouraged on the course. It is permitted in the clubhouse, with the exception of the Orangery, Heron’s Bar and Whisky Bar.

  • Laptops

    Laptops are permitted in the Main Lounge, Whisky Bar, Heron’s Bar Annex and the Locker Room Lounge.
